Reduce Torque Converter Shuddering
The BD PressureLoc increases main line clutch apply pressure when the lockup clutch is engaged to reduce torque converter "shuddering" and transmission slippage. Designed for stock to mildly modified engines or exhaust brake-equipped application, the PressureLoc can increase the life of your torque converter. For higher horsepower and/or heavily loaded applications, we recommend the addition of a BD Performance valve body or accumulator body.

It's strange but true- the torque converter in 94-04 Dodge-Cummins applications is more likely to slip at part throttle than full throttle. Why? Because the transmission's line pressure is controlled by throttle input - the more throttle you give it, the higher the line pressure goes. The problem is, the Cummins produces its peak torque at light throttle, when line pressure is at its lowest! The innovative BD PressureLoc is designed specifically to address this problem.

The PressureLoc increases converter lock-up clutch apply pressure by 30% at light throttle by rotating the transmission's throttle shaft to a position that approximates 3/4 throttle.
