Description Pay it Forward   Product Features ECM Bypass Kit Dodge Cummins 5.9L (2000-2002) Dodge Ram diesel trucks have a 2-second delay in activating the exhaust brake circuit. The delay is designed into the exhaust brake activation circuit of the engine ECM (pin 20). Pacbrake has a mechanical throttle switch kit, which bypasses the engine ECM and eliminates the delay in exhaust brake activation. Manual transmission equipped vehicles require a relay be installed to disable the cruise when the exhaust brake is in use, automatic transmission equipped vehicles do not need the relay. This ECM bypass kit includes a throttle switch, relay, terminals and wire to disable the cruise control when the exhaust brake dash switch is turned on.
