TITAN
Fuel Tanks utilize common sense design features, which simplify
installation. They reuse most of the stock components, including the
existing sending unit. The tank itself is nearly indestructible, but
light enough to be hefted by one or two people. While a vehicle hoist
and transmission jack are ideal, hand tools will get the job done.
TITAN Extra Large Capacity Diesel Fuel Tanks Anyone
who travels or pulls a payload knows that factory-equipped fuel tanks
in diesel pickups limit range. End the headaches rolling on miles. Save
time. Improve range. Cut fuel costs. Fill up when you want.

Why TITAN Tanks Are the Best You Can Buy TITAN
Fuel Tanks are made of high-density, military grade, cross-linked
polyethylene (XLHDPE). XLHDPE is a space-age material designed to
perform in any weather - extreme hot and cold temperatures alike. The
term "cross-linked" means that the molecular chains that makeup the
polymer are chemically bonded together, or "bridged", to form a
continuous, three dimensional structure. This allows stress and impact
energy to be dissipated throughout the infinite chain of molecules. In
other words, the TITAN Fuel Tank's innovative cross-linked structure
makes it as much as 5 times stronger than weaker linear-polyethylene
stock (OEM) tanks. In fact, it is one of the reasons why the U.S.
Department of Defense utilizes the very same processes, materials and
expertise for fuel storage in many of their front-line, combat vehicles.
TITAN (Cross-Linked) vs. OEM (Linear)
- 20 times the environmental stress crack resistance
- 10 times the molecular weigh
- 5 times the impact strength
Superior Chemical and Impact Resistance Compared
to commonly used materials like Linear Polyethylene and many grades of
stainless steel tanks, Cross-Linked Polyethylene has the widest range
of chemical resistance and superior impact resistance. TITAN Tanks will
not corrode, are especially well-suited for bio-diesel applications,
and much less subject to the formation of condensation.
U.S. Department of Defense Standards On
the battlefield performance is not a luxury, it is a necessity. That is
why the U.S. Department of Defense uses the very same processes and
materials as TITAN for fuel tanks in some of the U.S. Militarys combat
vehicles.
TITAN has hundreds of dealers across the United
States. TITAN Diesel Tanks are sold throughout the U.S., Canada, and
Australia, wherever American diesel trucks roll.
How Much Will a TITAN Tank Save Me in a Year? This
comparison only looks at the expected savings for those who use their
trucks for business and pleasure. It does not take into account the
convenience, safety, or efficiency that a TITAN Tank offers.
On a cost-basis alone, a TITAN Tank will pay for itself within 1-3 years, depending how you use your truck.
PLEASE NOTE: LB7 Kit is Required
on all 2001-2003 General Motors trucks. On 2004
models it is Required if the eighth character in the VIN is a "1".
Please see Option Box above to add the LB7 Adapter to your cart.
